For those traveling on Fund for Teachers grants, you might want to invest in an International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC, for short). Similar to the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), this ID affords discounts worldwide and is recognized internationally as a valid form of teacher/student identification. I had one when I lived and worked in London 11 years ago and it was worth the $26 investment.
